Before bridging: check the whole transfer route
Work through the four checks below, then use the related tools or contact support if an account-specific question remains.
A bridge is not a normal transfer
A bridge coordinates assets or messages across networks. The received token may have a different contract. A matching name does not prove that an exchange or app accepts it.
Check six details
Record the source network, destination network, source token contract, destination token contract, receiving address and minimum received amount. Then check service fees, gas, slippage and expected timing.
Trace a delayed transfer
Keep the source transaction hash. Check the source explorer, bridge order status and destination transaction separately. Source-chain success does not by itself confirm destination receipt.
Know when to pause
Pause if the destination asset is unsupported, the costs are unclear or support asks for recovery credentials. A small test should prove the entire route, including final receipt.
This is an independently written practical guide. Product availability, network support and exchange terms can change. Verify the relevant product screen before acting; examples are not live quotes.
