Understand the method before using the result
Choose a consistent volume
Use the same trade or period for both scenarios. Do not mix one-way and round-trip volume. Where opening and closing are charged separately, include both in the volume.
Separate the rate from the discount
Use the applicable base rate for the product. If your rate already includes the discount, do not apply the same benefit again.
Understand the scope
This estimates trading fees only, excluding spread, slippage, funding, withdrawals and network costs. Defaults are examples, not current exchange quotes or a confirmation of rebate payments.
