Separate advice from execution
An AI system may only explain data, prepare a transaction or actually execute one through tools. A chat interface does not tell you which permissions it holds.
Set five boundaries
Specify permitted networks and contracts, per-action and daily limits, actions requiring approval, and how to pause or revoke access. Available controls depend on the actual wallet implementation.
Start with low permissions
Begin with read-only address queries and reconcile results with on-chain records. Test transaction parameters and failure handling in a test environment before considering real funds.
Respond to unexpected activity
Stop automated tasks and inspect permissions and pending transactions. Revoke access through the relevant mechanism. Closing a chat window does not necessarily revoke a wallet permission.
