Safenet Aegis: security checks are not a guarantee
Reporting and official materials describe progress on Aegis. Users still need to distinguish network capabilities, account configuration and the warnings shown in their wallet.
What is confirmed
The Safe Foundation announcement directory lists an Aegis introduction dated 15 October; ChainCatcher also covered the development. The official help page reviewed here describes rule-based checks and says the displayed results are currently warnings: a flagged transaction may still be executed.
Panda view
A network capability, a product rollout and an individual account configuration are different things. A claim about enforceable security does not establish that every account already has identical blocking behaviour.
How to read a result
No issues found refers to the scope of the checks, not every possible risk. Review recipients, spenders and account changes. An unavailable check is not a clean result, and the user still needs to review the transaction.
What remains unverified
Availability depends on the product and account setup described by the provider. Rollout details should be checked as documentation evolves. Panda has not verified activation on a customer account or tested a real-funds transaction.
